Congratulations to Ava Barsoom!

Ava earned her private certificate today! Ava and I started flying together late this past summer. From the outset she demonstrated a natural feel for aviation and brought a bright, positive attitude to our lessons. We had a slight scare this past weekend with dubious weather threatening our coveted ride date and a sudden alternator issue but the sky gods looked favorable upon her and gave her a VFR window this morning! Hat tip to Dave Long and Dave Gordon for the fast Saturday morning alternator repair as well!
