Visit of the Boeing museum of flight in Seattle

With the beautiful C182 T (N811TW) we decided to fly from MYF to Seattle to visit the very interesting Boeing museum. The first stop brought us to San Francisco (it is only a 3 hours ย flight to SQL) where we visited this fantastic city.

On the next day, we departed heading NW and had lunch at shelter cove (0Q5) – a MUST, if weather permits. The landing strip is right beside the ocean, and gives breathtaking views over the Pacific Ocean. The next leg brought us to Portland, Oregon, to visit the city in the evening.

After the night stop we had a short 30 minutes hop to MCMinnville (MMV) to visit the ย Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, which is in walkable distance from the airport. There is also the wingsandwaves waterpark just beside the museum, where kids can slide down from an actual B747!! Its a fun for the whole family !

From there it is a short 1h30min flight to Seattle, where we visited the Museum of flight and made a Boeing factory tour in Everett.

Finally, on the way back to MYF, we had a night stop in Monterey (MRY), and a nice fish dinner at the fishermenยดs wharf.

We made about 20 flight hours (including some sightseeing flights at the SFO Bay Area and along the coast) and we enjoyed every minute.
