There are several videos that show how to fly the San Diego Bay Transition. I wanted to make one that is short, succinct, and focuses on who to talk to, what to ask for and where.
This is an off-shore bravo transition south, followed by a bay transition up the channel, then a delta transition north back to MYF.
I’m always amazed at how much I don’t know. I fly nearly every day, either professionally at 37,000′ or in a light airplane down at 3,700′.

Just remember you are at or below 500ft for a while with no outs incase the fan stops…that said, I love that route.

New to the club, what would be the procedure if I want to head back out to Cabrillo and north along the shoreline back to CRQ? I’m guessing north shoreline transition? Thanks.
