New CFI — Virginie Sut-Knuttila

Virginie Sut-Knuttila, club member and owner, earned her Flight Instructor Certificate on the 4th of September with DPE Jay Brentzel. Her excellent recommending senior instructor was Jason Andrews with a little help from her husband 🙂 along the way.

While most of the training was done in a non-club airplane, Virginie is hoping to soon be approved to do checkouts as one of the owners and experienced pilots of the club’s Beechcraft Debonair N7DU.  She is already an experienced ferry pilot having flown single-engine aircraft across the Atlantic from France to the USA 3 times, and looks forward to start work on her CFII soon.
