Congratulations to Jess Castro on her first solo!  Jess became the first person ever to solo in N918FA on July 6, 2026 at Gillespie field! (No, seriously, in THAT plane, on THAT date, and at KSEE, she was the first person to solo). Watching on proudly was her CFI who presented her with a First Solo certificate and read and presented her with a copy of the poem “High Flight”. Congratulations Jess!!!
