On March 13th, 2026, Mary Sherwood earned her Private Pilot Certificate, a tremendous accomplishment and an exciting milestone in what will surely be a long and rewarding aviation journey.

Mary demonstrated strong dedication and a steady commitment to her training throughout the process. During the final phase of training, she built the confidence and proficiency that every pilot develops on the path to their certificate.

Aviation often requires patience and the ability to adapt to changing conditions. When weather delayed Mary’s original checkride, she handled the rescheduling process with a positive attitude and perseverance, staying the course until the winds, and skies aligned.

A special thanks to CFI Ronan Rogers for their instruction and guidance throughout Mary’s training, and to DPE Greg Madariaga for conducting the checkride.
