Aircraft Description

The “Super D” is one of the most versatile taildraggers out there. Known for their agile and balanced flight characteristics and great ground-handling ability, Super D’s are docile enough for tailwheel training, yet fully aerobatic capable to +6 / -5 G’s. They are a favorite of flight schools, airshow performers, and aerobatic competitors. With comfortable tandem seating and panoramic visibility through the wrap-around windows and skylight, Super D’s are fantastic for scenic local flights and $100 hamburger runs. They are also capable VFR cross country mounts, with a 40 gallon fuel capacity, over 600 lbs of useful load, and a surprisingly spacious baggage compartment.

N28GK is a 2003 model with a composite prop and several lightweight modifications for maximum performance and increased useful load. A Stratus streams weather, traffic, and attitude information, and both front and rear seats are equipped with RAM mounts for your portable devices.

Experience the joy of real stick and rudder flying in a Super Decathlon and see San Diego from a whole new perspective! Additional information, manuals, and operating procedures can be found here.
