AIRCRAFT DESCRIPTION

83679 may be the only Super Cub available for rent in Southern California. The reason may well be that Super Cub owners are greedy for all the fun their airplanes provide – and don’t want to share with anyone else. Another reason could be that Super Cub owners may not want renters taking their babies into off-airport landing areas without their supervision.

In any event, Gregg, Mark and I are delighted to offer Plus One club members the opportunity to fly what I believe to be the best tailwheel airplane ever built. You can experience the amazing performance afforded by an airplane with only 160hp, yet seems to climb straight up. The droopy wingtips were extended 18 inches from the original wing, there are vortex generators and flaps which can extend 10 to 50 degrees, so 83679 can take off and land in very little space. The visibility afforded from the front seat is spectacular. 83679 is available for dual instruction only, however.
