How good are your Short Field Landings? Do you think you can landing within 20′ of a mark? How about your aim, think you can hit a 20′ target from 200′? This is your chance to try. On January 28th, 2023 we will be holding the [now] annual Spot Landing & Flour Bombing Contest. This contest is open to all club members of any certificate type (students must have their instructors with them).

The event will begin at 0830 and will run until about 1400. Due to ramp space considerations, the event will be limited to 20 aircraft and 30 members. Below are the contest rules and other details about the event. If you have any questions, please email safety@plusoneflyers.org.

• Spot Landing Contest: 0830-1100
• Lunch (Bring your own or eat at the cafe)
• Flour Bombing Contest: 1200-1400

Aircraft Reservation Notes:

Any aircraft are allowed for the spot landing, however, only high wing aircraft will be allowed for the flour drop (for somewhat obvious reasons). You are welcome to come with other club members and share the costs of the rental.
