N756RA - C182RG

Cessna Skylane N756RA is the best equipped, most cost effective cross country aircraft in the Plus One Flyers fleet!

N756RA is an exceptional cross-country flyer with a true airspeed of 160+ KTAS, and 1195 pounds of useful load.  Our new baby is a 1979 CR182, a four-seat, 235-hp, retractable gear, normally-aspirated, single-engine piston aircraft with an amazing array of avionics and redundant systems, including the Garmin G500 primary flight display, Garmin GTN750, Garmin G5 back-up EFIS, Garmin GTX 345 transponder with Flightstream, Garmin GMA340 audio panel, S-TEC 55X auto-pilot with altitude preselect, EDM 900 primary flight instrument & digital engine monitor, back-up ASI, AI, TC, TACH, MAP, a stand-by secondary vacuum system and four-place intercom.  Bring your IPAD with ForeFlight or Garmin software and connect to the GTN750 via Flightstream, and receive ADSB weather, traffic, synthetic vision, and enter and revise your flight plans with ease.  N756RA has all new paint, upholstery and carpet along with BAS inertia reel four-point shoulder harnesses for the pilot and co-pilot.  Come fly the safest, best looking, most technically advanced aircraft in the club.  Be prepared to fend off crowds of admirers on the ramp!

Check out is easy! Private Pilot minimum is 150 total hours, with 25 hours complex. In lieu of 25 hours retractable time, 10 hours dual in 6RA will meet insurance requirements.

Checkout:  Please download the checkout requirements and safety quiz from the link below.  We ask that if you were previously checked out in N133BW that you arrange for a ground check on the avionics with your CFII or an owner.  If your CFII was not previously checked out in N133BW, or is not familiar with G500/GTN750, contact the Safety Officer (safety@plusoneflyers.org) to arrange for a checkout with an authorized instructor.  This is a ‘79 model with wet wings and there are differences between 756RA and 133BW in the W&B, fuel load and other minor things that require your attention.

CFIIs that can ground check you or your CFII: (Go HERE first to make sure the instructor is currently authorized to teach in the club)

Pilot Requirements:

  • Minimum of 150 hours PIC time
  • Minimum of 25 hours of complex and high performance PIC time, or 10 hrs dual in 6RA.
  • Check-out with authorized instructor required

This is the best plane in the club. Paint is beautiful. Interior is beautiful. Panel is second to none. Please don't fly this airplane. I want it all to myself.
